Mission Impossible @ Peranakan Mansion

Have been to the Peranakan Mansion at the Penang Island on a mission to be James Bond but unfortunately, I have failed the mission. The mission was taking pictures of my love one friend's wedding pictures. 

They actually have the professional photographer taking the pictures but they wanted someone to take pictures on how they act and also the process when the photographers are taking theirs. 

So I got there earlier then them and then paid the money for the entrance fees. i took some pictures in there as a diguises. So when my love one's friend has arrived, I took some pictures of them when they were possing for the wedding pictures. finally got a few pictures of it and passed the pictures to them on the next day. It was a hot sunny day and I was sweating. Hope they like the pictures. 

Nice Parking skill ~ new car

Farn Frenzy ~ Kiss of the bored

The games that I have played to pass the time. The game is a bit childish but it was fun for me. No need to use brain so much..Hehe!! The game is called Farn Frenzy. It is from the Yahoo Games. Played 2 days already and you can see how many stages that I have gone through.

Weekend movies shows

Weekends spend by watching movies and also comedy series. Besides watching, there is also sleeping, bathing, eating and also house chores. Here is the list of it:

~ Gems of Life ~

Watched until episode 1-5 and stopped because the following episode on the DVD was missing. So have to stop watching and look for others. This tvb drama is quite some times already. There is also a few tvb dramas that I have missed. Will plan to watch them when there is time for it.

The dvd's was being brought from my home town. My bad for not checking the discs before bringing them along to island.

~Ong Bak 2~

This show was in my external hard disk for quite some times since it is a Year 2008 show. I copied from my colleague, Ong (known as the supplier). 

So last weekend was the time for me to clean up some space for my external hard disk. I scanned all the movies that I have copied and decide which that needs to be deleted. For this show, Ong bak 2, I was watching at the beginning and I was suprised that there is no subtitles for it. try to configure and still no subtitles. So I skipped to the action part and watched the action parts. That is what I have watched from theOng Bak 2. Just the fighting part. Nice!!

~CSI New York Season 3~

Sadly, this is a nice series to watch. The sad is that I started to watch from Season 3 and not Season 1. It was a nice and exciting series to watch. Watched from episode 1-24 and it was getting excited at episode 24, whereby they have terrorist who wanted to get the drugs out from the NYPD department. Suspend and actions. 

There is a lot of CSI versions such as CSI Miami, Las Vegas and .....When will it be end?

~Hell Kitchen Season 5 ~

Watched Hell Kitchen season 5 and I think there is a few more episode that I need to look for because it as almost the final and i don't have the next episode on it. So have to look Gooi. He is the one that I copied this series from. have to wait until Wednesday. That is the only day that i can met him and copied fr0m. It is nice to see how the cook, how they manage their team and work and also the conspiracy that they made. It was also fun watching chef Ramasey scolding and shouting. If I am in the competition, I think I will broke down and crying to go home.... Haha!!...

Susan Boyle ~ Britain's Got talent 2009

On my way to work and a news that has been broadcast caught my attention. Susan Boyle. Who is her and why is her so popular in the news that leads the paparazi to work their days to get news of her. I was wondering ...hmmmm. Who is this girl or what I should said lady. 

I was in the office and updating the status at the Twitter. Something that I have register yesterday. Saw her name Susan Boyle at the Trending Section. So I click on the link and saw a lot of comments on that post. Click on chrome and search for the name in google. 

Pops out all the result and just click on the youtube link where I can view it. There is one more fact that I heard from the radio which is she is ugly and she does not deserve to be in the competition. So i might think that it is something like our hero, William Hung. 

Viewed the clips and I was inspired when I listened to the sound that she has sang. You will be surprised becasue it is totally different from William Hung.  I think she has surpassed William Hung. What I can said is that I really admire the courage that she has. The courage that moved her to another level in her life. Here is some videos from youtube. Enjoy the voice of angels.

Winter Melon Soup - cooked by me

Yesterday, I decided to cook winter melon soup ~Tong Qwa soup for my love one because recently the weather at Penang island was hot and warm. My love one is also working from 9am-10pm today. Thiking of giving a surprise for my love one. 

I went to Sunshine Farlim, the old sunshine mall to buy the materials for the soup. The old sunshine is still up and they have rent it out to other vendors for them to sell thier products. it is like a market but an air con market style. 

I bought the melon (enough for 4 person), 3 drumsticks which is being choped into small pieces and also 100g of dates. After that, I went back home to start the cooking. I boiled a pot of water and waited for it to heat up. Then I put in a piece of chicken stock and also the chickens into the boiled water after I have clean the chickens (removing the parts that is not needed). Then I left it to boil in a small fire so that the taste of the chicken will be soft when eating it. 

Once the aroma of the chicken can be smelled, I put all the winter melon that has been cutted into small pieces into the pot. Slice a bit of the dates so that the taste of the dates combines with the soup as well.  You just need to boil the soup until the melon is soft and also the lovely aroma of the soup can be smell. 

Once it soft, taste the soup and add in some salt for the soup taste perfections. Serve it while it is hot. for this soup, I got a pass from my love one cause it was nice....

Hope you all can enjoy or tried it out. Although it is a simple soup but to make the soup for some one you love, it will taste differently. Enjoy!!

小娘惹 ~ Little nyonya~

A nice singaoprean drama that touches everyones heart just by watching a few episode of it. I don't watch Singaporen dramas that much. I choose those who are nice and then I will watch or those who has nice reviews on it. So this shows was nice and I also remembered someone did mention about this show before but I didn't take notice of it. 

So when i got the copies of it, I just scan through the 1st episode and it didn't actaully attracted me. So when I got the copies burned on DVD format so that I watch on the living room. 

The show was started yesterday when my love one was adding the moss and also the prawns that we have bought from the fish shops. The starting was nice and it was like a recall kind of drama. It all started at the Melaka because it is a Baba and Nyonya series. There is where the stories of the Baba's started. I think i better skip the introduction. If those who are interested in knowing more on the characters and the rest, here is where you can get it, Google. 

There is also facebook(~Not able to look b'coz no account~) and the official web sites for this drama. I think every drama or movies do has a official web sites to promote it. The theme songs is also nice. Can get it at youtube or just google it. The theme song name is Ru Yan ~ Olivia Ong.

For my opinion, this show is nice and touching. From the beginning of the show, you can see the sadness that they have acted and the sadness just keeps on coming. It is like there is no happiness that you can see in the drama. What I can said is that those who has watched it sure has touched your hearts and also tears dropping from the eyes. When I was watching it, I admit that the tears on my eyes .... 

There is also some scenes that is really...I also do not know how to describe in words. It has all kinds of elements in it and also morals that we can practise in our life. What I can said is that, try to watch a few episode and you will know...

There is a question that I and my love one keep on asking back to outselves, who are those guy and girl. Who is the girl. She called second wife as Ma Ma (which is grandmother). Curiousity. I think that we need to wait for the ending to unfold the mystery. The mystery has been unfolded at the episode 11. 

Have to stop now cause wanted to continue on watching the drama....
