Winter Melon Soup - cooked by me

Yesterday, I decided to cook winter melon soup ~Tong Qwa soup for my love one because recently the weather at Penang island was hot and warm. My love one is also working from 9am-10pm today. Thiking of giving a surprise for my love one. 

I went to Sunshine Farlim, the old sunshine mall to buy the materials for the soup. The old sunshine is still up and they have rent it out to other vendors for them to sell thier products. it is like a market but an air con market style. 

I bought the melon (enough for 4 person), 3 drumsticks which is being choped into small pieces and also 100g of dates. After that, I went back home to start the cooking. I boiled a pot of water and waited for it to heat up. Then I put in a piece of chicken stock and also the chickens into the boiled water after I have clean the chickens (removing the parts that is not needed). Then I left it to boil in a small fire so that the taste of the chicken will be soft when eating it. 

Once the aroma of the chicken can be smelled, I put all the winter melon that has been cutted into small pieces into the pot. Slice a bit of the dates so that the taste of the dates combines with the soup as well.  You just need to boil the soup until the melon is soft and also the lovely aroma of the soup can be smell. 

Once it soft, taste the soup and add in some salt for the soup taste perfections. Serve it while it is hot. for this soup, I got a pass from my love one cause it was nice....

Hope you all can enjoy or tried it out. Although it is a simple soup but to make the soup for some one you love, it will taste differently. Enjoy!!

小娘惹 ~ Little nyonya~

A nice singaoprean drama that touches everyones heart just by watching a few episode of it. I don't watch Singaporen dramas that much. I choose those who are nice and then I will watch or those who has nice reviews on it. So this shows was nice and I also remembered someone did mention about this show before but I didn't take notice of it. 

So when i got the copies of it, I just scan through the 1st episode and it didn't actaully attracted me. So when I got the copies burned on DVD format so that I watch on the living room. 

The show was started yesterday when my love one was adding the moss and also the prawns that we have bought from the fish shops. The starting was nice and it was like a recall kind of drama. It all started at the Melaka because it is a Baba and Nyonya series. There is where the stories of the Baba's started. I think i better skip the introduction. If those who are interested in knowing more on the characters and the rest, here is where you can get it, Google. 

There is also facebook(~Not able to look b'coz no account~) and the official web sites for this drama. I think every drama or movies do has a official web sites to promote it. The theme songs is also nice. Can get it at youtube or just google it. The theme song name is Ru Yan ~ Olivia Ong.

For my opinion, this show is nice and touching. From the beginning of the show, you can see the sadness that they have acted and the sadness just keeps on coming. It is like there is no happiness that you can see in the drama. What I can said is that those who has watched it sure has touched your hearts and also tears dropping from the eyes. When I was watching it, I admit that the tears on my eyes .... 

There is also some scenes that is really...I also do not know how to describe in words. It has all kinds of elements in it and also morals that we can practise in our life. What I can said is that, try to watch a few episode and you will know...

There is a question that I and my love one keep on asking back to outselves, who are those guy and girl. Who is the girl. She called second wife as Ma Ma (which is grandmother). Curiousity. I think that we need to wait for the ending to unfold the mystery. The mystery has been unfolded at the episode 11. 

Have to stop now cause wanted to continue on watching the drama....

Yesterday was Eugene's b'day and Alice did send out emails on celebrating for him. They bought him 2 cakes becasue there were a lot of people shared on the cakes and present. Can heard the songs singing on the other side because I am sitting kinda a few cubes away. Different support have to sit different location. Isolated...Sad!! Welcome to my new house - virtually version. 

Do you think this furnitures are nice? I was in the Lorenzo at the Dato Keramat side. Was wondering inside and looking at the furnitures. The quality of the furnitures are nice and the fabrics are smooth when you touch on them. It feels like comfort that makes you wanted to bring it home. Sadly, it is still not my time to buy yet. Maybe in the future, this furnitures will be living in my house.

~What do you all think of this laptop backpack? Nice? Cool? If you all are interested, you can drop your cash at the Jusco, 3rd floor if not mistaken. Anyone who can guess where is this place. This is a place where I usually land my feet at and orered somethings to fill in my stomach. The foods are not bad. Hints: Some where near the main branch of KFC.

Tasted at QB mall. While tasting the ice-cream, there is a gymnastics competition on for the childrens or what we can said teenagers. Mostly all are Malays and chinese are just a few of thems. Looks like MALAYSIANS are getting moderns thoughts. That is also the day where my Adidas sport shoes was bought. hehe!!

~Big Apple Donuts~

Ate it at the Jusco at my home town, Bukit Mertajam. There was no where to go besides shopping mall at my home town. not much activities you can do. But you can go hiking. There is also some locations on it. Anyway, I ordered the cold Chocolate fro drinks and the nominated donuts are  Duren Duren, Pink Twister and Whitnut (starting from right hand side)

Bought some muffins back home from QB mall for snacks and also breakfast at work. The muffins are always the best. Bought all 3 flavours: Banana, vanila and Chocolate. Yummy!!

A lovely day at Penang Island

29th April 2009, Wednesday, it was my working day but I took MC because I have a strain at the neck and also at the shoulder. So I smsed to Alice Chin and then she gave me the approval to be absent that day.

Then I and my love one went for breakfast after I have send the sms mentioning that I am on MC. We went to have dim sum which is located behind of the Bali Hai at Air Itam. We ate a lot and love one was full cause we kinda ordered a lot of dim sum in one short. After that, we went to pray at the Kek Lok Si temple as usual.

I did snap some pictures of it because we took the cable car to go up to the top of the temple. I asked my love one to walk to the cable car instead of driving. I told him to exercise bit after a having a wonderful breakfast. My love one agreed and we walked to the cable car and waited for our turn. We bought the tickets and I couldn't remember the cost for adults. If I am not mistaken, it should be RM 4 person.

Along the way up to the top, there is a tourist inthe cable car with us but we kinda ignore her existenses. Love one was posing and I grab my P1i and take a few shots of my love one posing in the cable car. There are a few poses that he has make but I don't think that I am going to post it here. If my love one knows that I post it here, sure I will get yelling from him. So I better keep it in my phone for personal view usage.

Looks like this will be the longest blog entry. This blog entrywill be the whole activity that we have done that day.

On top of the Kek Lok Si temple, there lies a status which is the Kuan Yin statue. It was huge. I think there is no need for me to go into details about it. We prayed and also make our wishes to the Kuan Yin. My love one did tooks pictures with the zodiac animals which is goat but i think it is still the same that it won't be posted in here as well.

After that, we went down to the down hill by the cable car. I have snap shots on the fountains and my love one was watching the fishes swimming and dancing in the water. So I grab the pictures of the fountain. Although it is was covered with mosses growing all over the fountains rocks.

We went to the car park and then we pay a visit to the usual places that we went on the weekends. CTY, Jian Long and also the Toby Pet. It was raining at that moment if I remember properly. It has been days for me to update on this blog. Apologizes.

Then we went back home after visiting all those places. We rested and love one planned to go to Red Box. My love one said that he suddenly felt like sing some songs. So I agreed on it and we went to there. We can relax and also release the stress out by singing. On the way to the Red Box, love one was taking a snap and I was driving the car. It is a little bit jam cause of the raining weather. Parked the car and then we went into the room. It was buffect dinner at that time. One short we took all the foods into our room. We sang, drink and ate. The food on Red Box is really not that nice and I think they need to improve on it. It was like getting worse.

There were having 20% discount on members. So the cost for the Red Box was Rm60++.

It was a fun day with my love one. I enjoyed that day and I also do hope that love one also felt the same way. Hope for another fun and enjoying day. Jasper signing off....

McD shoes at the office.

My loved one was on outstation and he wore his casual shoes to outstation. So I do not have any shoes to wear due to that my 2 pairs of shoes are lost. I think some kids or people just took it off from my door steps. So 1st day, I wore slipper to office but the next day, I didn't because the CR managers decided to drop by to survey on our working environment.

As you can see that is my loved one's shoes. This is the shoes that he usually wear on weekdays to the office. The shoes was kinda loose but it was fine with me.

When my loved one is back from outstation, then I can wear the casual shoes to office. i will wear the shoes until I got a new shoes. For the new shoes, have to wait for the company to pay me and then I can buy one.

I asked some advice and AL said that Adidas shoes is better than NiKE because of the quality of it. So might buy Adidas as I have browse through some different type of it. Money, money, I am waiting for you : )

Meat Ball Spagetti

MeatBall Spagetti being cooked by my love one. It is nice and tasty and it also got the recommendation from her sister saying that it is nice. I also tasted it today as I brought it to office for lunch. Nice and delicious.

Here is before the sauce is been put on the spagetti.

Steps on how to prepare the spagetti.

1. Buy the spagetti, sauce and also the meatballs that you need. The amount depends on how much people you need to prepare.

2. Put in a pot of water and then boil the water. Add in some salt into water to fast the boiling and also the taste of it.

3. Once the water is hot, add in the spagetti into the pot. Boil for 2 minutes.

4. Took the spagetti out and then add in the butter into it.

5. Stir the spagetti so that the spagetti mix well with the butter.

6.Once it is done, we can prepare the sauce already. Add some oil, then put the sauce into the pan and add in the meatball.

7. Cook the sauce until it is warm and taste good.

8. Finally, add in the herbs into the sauce and then spagetti.

Since everything is done, you can put the spagetti and the sauce into the plate. Then serve to the one you love or prepared.

Try it out and I can make sure you will have your thumbs up.

Traffic jams..

A raining day when I was on my way back from buying supper. It was raining and it was heavily jam. Just quickly snap some pictures from the view of my driving seats.

I am not ready to die

Are you scare of dying? I can honestly tell you that I am scared of dying and it is not my time to die. Know why do I said so. It was because I had a dream last night. I was somewhere and there was a fight. I was in the good side and I was arguing with someone. It was kinda happen fast and I couldn't recall who or what their faces looks like. I was shouting at him and my finger pointed at his face. He pull out a gun and fired a bullet to my chest. The bullet went into my chest and I can feel the pain of it. Blood splashes out from my body.

My hand was pressing at the bullet wound and I can feel the blood flowing out of it even I supressed it hard on my chest. I was running for help and along the road, the road lights are getting dimmer and dimmer. When I looked in front of me, I saw a door. I think it is more like a gate. It was made of paper. I knocked the door up and I couldn't stop my stances.

Inside of the gate, it was dark and there is a hand reach out for me. I tried to avoid so that the hand can't grab me but i couldn't. Then I was awake already. In my mind, there is this saying, "I am not prepared to die". I got scared and whenever I continue back to sleep, I can see the images of the gate. It was scary.

Is it just a dream or a message? Do you believe on what you dream of, some are true and it will happen to you? So what do you think of DREAM?

Nice artworks founded.

Nice artwork. I was amazed when I saw the artwork that has been craved at the Raja Uda, Butterworth. It was been craved at a temple at Raja Uda. You can see the delighted craving if you went there by yourself. The reason I was there is because I was off shift and we went there to done stuff.

Nice. There is also another artsworks where yoou can view it. It is at the Kek Lok Si temple. At the top of the hill. Go and take a look on it.

Restoran Teow Chew meng

A nice restaurant where you can bring your love one and had a nice time to fill up your empty stomach. I went there to have some foods when I was waiting for my hair cut to be done at the Bayan Lepas. The hair stylist was busy with one of the customer. So went for some foods to pass the time.

The restaurant has varietys 0f foods and it also provides WIFI connections on it. They gave the password and I tested the connection using my P1i. The connection is just average. I just browsed some sites and done nothing much. Actually, the connection is not that good. I think they have limited the bandwidth of it.

This is what have been ordered to keep the thunders stop roaring in my stomach. It is what they called "Hu Zi" with either mee or without mee. In english what they call "Hu Zi" is sharkfin. Fake sharkfin. I had this before when I was at KL. It was nice and warm. It was been cooked using coal instead of gas. Everyone also agrees that foods that is been cooked using coal is nice and delicious. I do agreed on it as I have tasted it.

The Hu Zi has been eaten portion by portion. If you eat by alone, what I can said is that you sure willl be full when you are on half through the food. Shared it and enjoy the food fast because once it gets cold, the taste is gone.

Deep fried tauhu. Taste just normal and nothing special about it. If you all interested in eating deep fried tauhu, what I can suggest is the Super Tanker ~belacan tauhu. It is nice but let me tell you first, the filling of the tauhu is little. You can eat it as snacks. Delicious.

Guppy Competition at Air Itam..

This is one of the spots that I have been and there is a Guppy competition being held on it. On that day, I was off so I went to take a scroll there as I promised some one to video the whole occasion of it. So I arrived there around 12 something if I am not mistaken. The event has happened a few months back. So I just post this entry in this new blog. Couldn't find anything to talk about. So just randomly selects the event of my life and share.

The atmosphere was quite nice but the weather was not that friendly that day. It was hot and I was wearing the wrong shirt. It was my Giordano black shirt. It is kinda like the sweater style. I was sweating but it was worth.

There were a lot of different kinds of guppy fishes that is been displayed. They were arranged according to the categories. I didn't take any pictures of the fishes because the light was too bright and my P1i cannot grab a nice image of it. So I video on it.
